Anatomy of a Cigar
Wrapper
Cigar wrappers are the outside leaf of tobacco. Look for smooth and intact leaves for the best quality. Wrappers can be Maduro, Corojo, Connecticut, Habano, and many others.
Filler
Filler are tobacco leaves that make up the inside of your cigar. They can't be wrapped too tightly or it will prevent air from getting through, giving you a bad smoking experience.
Binder
The binder is the middle ring of your cigar. The leaves must be fairly strong to keep the cigar together and need to complement the rest of the flavours in the cigar.
